Q01 SMART AI GLASSES User's Manual (English)

Key Definition

The glasses have three control areas: ① Function key, ② AI/Recording button, ③ Touch area.

Key ① — Function Key

  • A: In the off state, long press the key for 3 seconds to turn on the power.
  • B: Under power-on state, long press the key for 5 seconds to turn off the product.
  • C: Under power-on state, long press the key for 10 seconds will restore the factory settings (this operation will clear all data on the device, please use with caution).
  • D: Under power-on state, short press 1 time to take a picture. The photo will be automatically stored in the local memory and can be imported to your phone after connecting the APP.
  • E: Under power-on state, short press 2 times quickly to record video, then short press once to end recording. During recording, the video will be automatically stored in local memory and can be imported to your phone after connecting the APP.
  • F: In the power-on state, long press the button for 16 seconds will force the product to restart and enter the pending connection state.
  • G: When a call comes in, short press once to answer the incoming call; long press for 3 seconds to reject the current incoming call.

Press Button ② — AI / Recording Button

  • A: While the device is powered on, press the button once briefly to wake up the AI voice assistant. You can then ask the AI voice assistant questions. This operation requires the HeyCyan app to remain displayed on the front screen.
  • B: While the device is powered on, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to enable the recording function. During recording, press the button once briefly to end the recording. The recorded audio will be automatically stored in the device's local memory and can be imported into your phone after connecting to the app.
  • C: While the device is powered on, quickly press the button twice to activate the object recognition feature. Keep your head still while the camera takes a photo of the object in front of you and syncs it to the app for analysis. The results can be viewed in the AI section of the app.

Touch Area ③

  • A: When playing music, continuously double-click the touch area to start/pause playback.
  • B: When playing music, three consecutive clicks on the touch area will switch to the previous music.
  • C: When playing music, long press the touch area to switch to the next music.
  • D: When playing music, swipe forward across the touch area to increase the volume; swipe backward across the touch area to decrease the volume.

Connection Instructions

  1. This smart glasses is a stand-alone product; many functions must be connected with your cell phone before use.
  2. You can search "HeyCyan" in Google Play or iPhone App Store, download and install it to your cell phone.
  3. You can also scan the QR code and select the corresponding system version to download.

Connection Steps:

  1. Open the installed app and follow the instructions to complete the registration.
  2. Select [Home] and click [Connect Device].
  3. Select the name of the searched device [Q01].
  4. When you hear the ding-dong sound, the connection is successful.

Warm Tips

  • This product supports photo and video recording, but the power consumption is relatively high. When the power is lower than 15%, the device will deactivate the photo and video recording function. When the power is lower than 20%, the device will pause the transmission of data to the cell phone, and can be resumed after charging.
  • This product supports Wi-Fi to transfer data to cell phone and save it. It needs the cell phone to allow the APP to use relevant permissions before it can be realized.

Precautions

  • Prohibit charging in a waterlogged or humid environment.
  • Please use the charging cable accompanying this product to charge.
  • The material of this product is soft; please hold it gently and put it down, and it is forbidden to drop it. When you find the product broken, please pay attention to safety and avoid scratching your body.
  • This product does not have a waterproof function; it is strictly prohibited to let the product rain or soak in water.
